NBC is China's No.1 cosmetics ODM, one of the top 4 worldwide, and the biggest global mask manufacturer. To ensure success in a growing market, NBC emphasizes R&D, especially in plant raw materials, microemulsions, new preparations, bioactive materials, etc.

In 2016， NBC Korea R&D Institute was founded with the cooperation of Dr. Kim Sun Young and Prof. Park Ching. From raw material development, formula research, efficacy testing, and other aspects, NBC recently works with Jinan University, Shenzhen University, and Zhejiang University. Meanwhile, NBC Guangzhou R&D center was established in 2021.

With 50,000 ㎡ R&D centers and over 190 research staff, there are over 10 thousand reserve formulas in NBC according to last year's incomplete statistics.

Since being established in 2004, NBC insists on continuous product innovation, especially in facial masks, and introduced non-woven masks, Tencel masks, hydrogel masks, double infusion masks, graphene masks, ultrafine fiber masks, and freeze-dried masks successively. And over 60 kinds of smear masks were out, based on different skin-touch, usage scenarios, hot efficacy, and ingredient. Otherwise, NBC is also one of the first China cosmetics ODM that applied the concept of Clean Beauty to the product.

The NOX BELLCOW KOREA R & D CENTER is located in the Seoul digital industrial complex, about 15 km from the center of Seoul and the transportation is convenient. The center includes GMP research institutes and experimental workshops. Of which meets the production requirements of raw materials and semi-finished cosmetics. We have been working with Korea’s Sogang University and Hanbat National University; and other relevant Korean institutes, so as to cooperate with more Korean cosmetic scholars, researchers and formulators, to continuously improve and perfect the development of NOX BELLCOW Cosmetics ODM business.

The main research directions of NOX BELLCOW KOREA R & D CENTRE includes: biological fermentation, biotransformation, extraction and separation of plant ingredients, high-tech raw materials and other aspects. To ensure raw materials meet the relevant laws and regulations and also market demand, there are several tests and research on safety and effectiveness through microbiology culture, 3D skin model, isolated cell test and so on.

NOX BELLCOW KOREA R & D CENTRE also develops new formulas of skincare, mask and other cosmetics  with the study of Korean cosmetics market trend and the cooperation of other experts.
